Team Description

"Aixtreme Racing" is the name of our Formula Student project in University of Applied Science Aachen.
The establishment of this team in March 2007 is the brainchild of a group of enthusiasted students from Department 6, the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering.

We wish to establish our position and make a name for ourselves in the arena of Formula Student, Germany. Nonetheless, we hope that we can live up to our high expectations.

We are the "Aixtreme Racing" Formula Student Team from FH Aachen, consisting of around 20 dedicated members. This year, we are switching from a combustion engine to an electric powertrain. We remain true to our roots: our proven monocoque-rear frame concept, suspension geometry, and differential. The car is now powered by a single Emrax 228 motor and a custom transmission, with energy supplied by our self-developed high-performance pouch cell battery.
