Car #266
Info
Based in Melbourne, Australia, Monash Motorsport consists of 100+ undergraduate students operating as one team responsible for both an IC and EV car. 2018 will mark the first time Monash competes overseas in both classes, with the goal to maximise the sum of points across the two vehicles. M17-C features a KTM 690 Duke-R and new aerodynamics developed in the Monash Wind Tunnel. With 2000+ km of testing and driver training under its belt, M17-C is ready to take on the competition at FSG.

Info
Monash Motorsport is based at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. The team has competed in FSAE since 2000 with a strong belief in the importance of points simulation, early testing and vehicle tuning. Our latest concept, the M15, showcases a new turbocharged KTM 500, a unique suspension layout and our most highly integrated aerodynamics package yet. Newly developed carbon fibre wheels alongside CSIRO's titanium printed outboard help make this Monash's lightest entry to date.

Monash Motorsport is based at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. The team has competed in FSAE since 2000 with a strong belief in the importance of points simulation, early testing and a heavy focus on aerodynamics. Their latest concept, the M13, is a competition proven clean sheet redesign. It features a turbocharged KTM 450 SX-F, 10" wheels with direct acting suspension and an aggressive aerodynamic package, which was designed around a drag reduction system.

Info
The Monash Motorsport M11 has been the team's first clean sheet redesign since 2006. Thanks to KTM, the team has recently switched to the 450SX-F single cylinder engine, which has helped us to dramatically reduce overall vehicle weight and fuel consumption. Taking advantage of the 2011 aerodynamics rule changes, the M11 runs one of the largest wings and diffuser packages ever seen in Formula Student to generate 90 kg of downforce at 60 km/h, and the car’s and driver's weight in downforce at 105 km/h. Thanks to new Goodyear D2704 tyres the M11 can make the most of this additional download, and regularly sustains +2g cornering in competition. The M11 was completed four months prior to its first competition (FSAE-A 2011), and has completed 1200 km (equivalent to 54 Endurance lengths) before arriving at Formula Student Germany. We would like to thank RWTH Aachen for hosting us and we look forward to seeing all the teams in Hockenheim!
