Info
Each year the international competition "Formula Student" is another step in the progress and the improvement of our performance. The fundamental choices undertaken on the project EFS005 Fearless gave us good results so this year will be the continuity of the previous one. For the EFS006 DragonBlast our objectives are: o Optimize the engine performance by modifying the intake and exhausto Improve the ground contact system o Increase the overall efficiency of the car by integrating a telemetry system o Reduce the overall schedule by three months to be able to run and debug the car from April onwards.

Info
This year, our team’s philosophy is summarized with the following words: simplicity, reliability, lightness. To respect these original goals, the “Fearless” car is based on several main design points and/or innovations that are: • Switch from 4-cylinder engine (last year’s prototype) to single-cylinder engine. • Switch from 13” rims (last year’s prototype) to 10” rims. • Possible use of aluminum brake discs: 2012 innovation. • Lowering of the center of gravity’s position to maximize the grip. • Car weight less than 200 kg (last year’s prototype: 236 kg).

Info
The ENIM Racing Team was established in 2008. It competed for the first time in the FSAE challenge in 2010. Composed of 6 members, the team has developed an all-new car for Class1. By building on knowledge gained from the previous competitions, the 2011 car has been designed to be even more efficient and effective. Our main goal was to reduce the weight down to 220kg, a significant drop of 25%. To do this we reconsidered the whole design philosophy; mostly by designing a lighter chassis (a 35% loss of weight), using lighter unsprung parts and transmission parts which represent our biggest weight reductions. The engine performances were also improved due to the design development of the intake, exhaust and cooling systems. The safety and environment of the driver were key factors in the design of our 2011 car. Due to our experience and improved engineering skills, ERT is hoping to retain its position as the No. 1 French team and to make a good impression in its first FSG competition .
