Team Description

We are a young and ambitious Formula Student team from Düsseldorf, the capital city of North Rhine-Westphalia.

This season, 75 dedicated students from 6 different faculties are working together on the development of our fifth electric race car, the eXXe26. Since the foundation of E-Traxx in 2013, our team has continuously grown in both technical expertise and organizational structure.

Building on the successful completion of eXXe24 and the development of eXXe25, we are now focusing on creating a sustainable and future-oriented concept for the team. Over the past seasons, we significantly improved our performance in the static disciplines and established a solid foundation for long-term success. A major milestone was achieving 3rd place out of 84 teams in the Business Plan Presentation at Formula Student Germany last season.

For the upcoming season, our goal is to further strengthen our engineering capabilities, optimize our development processes, and continue growing as a competitive and innovative team. We are excited to push E-Traxx to the next level and to collaborate with new and existing partners on our journey.

"Lighter, smarter, better – meet eXXe25!" Compared to last year, our team of 60 students achieved a significant weight reduction, repackaged our drivetrain and designed a highly efficient 588V accumulator. An optimized chassis and aerodynamics make "Shorty" not just lighter on the scale, but sharper on the track and lays groundwork for the next generations: Future-proof concepts that allow us to grow "Härter, Besser, Schneller und Kürzer".

“Motivated and determined, we want to move into the fast lane this year.”Since last season, the team E-Traxx has doubled in size to almost 40 members and is bringing a car to the starting line faster than ever before. The expansion and internal restructuring have presented the team with major challenges, which have been mastered successfully.
