Info
Ecurie Aix is one of the oldest Formula Student Teams in Germany, founded in the year 1999. The team name is derived from the French words "ecurie" meaning racing team and "aix" standing for Aachen. The eace07.d - Rita is our third autonomous racecar and we participate with it at FSG for the second time. Big improvements are a new LiDAR mounting concept, a new CarPC, big updates in our software and several weight reductions.
Engineering Design Priorities:
Software deveploment
Hardware development
Control development
Aerodynamic improvements
Continuous Integration

2019
Info
Ecurie Aix is one of the oldest Formula Student Teams in Germany, founded in the year 2000. The team name is derived from the French words ecurie meaning racing team and aix standing for Aachen. Since last season some people might think our name is spoken like "EuciRoix" but it isn't actually. This season is our third season in the driverless class. The focus was to build a reliable and modular car based on our electric vehicle from last season.
Engineering Design Priorities:
Sensor Fusion

2018
Info
Ecurie Aix is one of the oldest Formula Student Teams in Germany, founded in the year 2000. The team name is derived from the french words ecurie meaning racing team and aix standing for Aachen. Our team has 65 members responsible for building two cars: redesigning one car for the driverless competition and an electric race car. For the year 2018 we chose a new car as basis for our driverless competitor. Additionally to our system from last year, we use two Lidar to detect the environment.
Engineering Design Priorities:
Overall Vehicle Concept
Cooling System
Vehicle Dynamics
DV Software
