Team Description
Democritus Racing Team (DRT) was founded
in October 2015, mainly by students of the
Department of Production and Management
Engineering of the Democritus University of
Thrace, in Xanthi. The team’s objective is to
design and construct a single-seat race car,
following the rules and regulations of the International
Formula SAE (Society of Automotive
Engineers) (further information can be
found on the last page), and finally to compete
in the organisation’s events.
