Car #219
Info
Formula Technion is building its seventh racecar. With a lot of potential in last year's car, a lot of effort was invested in the car's reliability to ensure that the team has a fast, yet reliable car at FSG 2019. With tight system packaging and integration optimization, the FT19C weighs a mere 128 kg and the team is eager to test it on track against the tough competition from around the world.
Engineering Design Priorities:

Info
Formula Technion is participating in its sixth season in Formula Student. After switching to a single cylinder engine last year, the team was able to optimize engine systems and the rest of the car to reduce almost 50kg from the car's overall weight. Highlights of the car include custom electronic gear shifting and clutch actuators, low overall weight and a significant increase in aerodynamic performance.
Engineering Design Priorities:
Weight reduction Engine performance Active drivetrain

Info
Formula Technion is an Israeli-based team out of the Technion: Israel Institute of Technology. This will be the team's fifth year competing in Formula Student. A significant change in the vehicle concept was made as the team moved to a single cylinder engine from a four-cylinder. As a result, the entire vehicle was redesigned and the team is excited to compete for the first time at Formula Student Germany.
