Info
DART Racing participates in the Formula Student Germany since 2006. Over 35 highly motivated students from various branches of study are working on this year's car, the zeta2011. Thorough analysis of the existing concepts lead to targeted designs which consider especially weight reduction and improvement of drivability. As in the years before DART Racing stands for innovative and progressive engineering design: The use of E 85 containing bioethanol for example does not only improve the fuel consumption but shows furthermore our dedication to sustainability and reduces our carbon footprint.DART Racing is looking forward to an interesting and hopefully sucessful Formula Student Germany competition. We would like to thank all sponsors and supporters who make the participation in Formula Student events even possible.

DART Racing participates in the Formula Student Germany since 2006. Over 40 highly motivated students are working on this years car, the epsilon2010. We hope to show the potential of our vehicle at the national competition in Hockenheim. Besides that sustainability and the sucessful enhancement of DART Racing as well as the further establishment of the project at TU Darmstadt are main drivers.Thorough analysis of the existing concepts lead to targeted designs which consider cost efficient manufacture while remaining high quality level.

Info
DART Racing is proud to present its new racecar: the delta2009. The 2009 team consists of 50 students from different fields of study. Most of them attend DART Racing parallel to their regular courses.Due to the new chassis regulations the team had to design a new CFRP-monocoque which will offer modularity for different engine types in the future.Nevertheless the engine department focused on improving the performance of the powerful 2008-engine by simulations and bench tests. After a research on the gamma2008 suspension the kinematics were enhanced regarding performance and variability. The development of our custom-built Pirelli tires focused on an improvement of better grip in damp or wet conditions.Comparing delta2009 and gamma2008 nearly all components were redesigned due to reliability and the teams approach to design a new car.We would like to thank the TU Darmstadt and all our sponsors for their support. Info
With last year’s revolutionary concept beta2007, DART Racing was able to finish 6th overall in the Formula Student Germany competition. The outstanding performance of this concept was proved with the first place in the Autocross.Having this ability of performance in mind, the team decided to choose evolution over revolution. Every part of the beta2007 was analyzed regarding performance and reliability. With the results of this research, the new high performance race car gamma2008 was developed. Some of the 2008 car’s main features are the 15 inch CFRP rims and CFRP wishbones with integrated carbon fibre spring elements. With the further development of the custom-built tires, the unsprung masses in the suspension system were radically reduced. Furthermore a traction control system has been implemented, supporting the cars dynamic abilities even more.We would like to thank the TU Darmstadt & our Sponsors for their support.
