PassionWorks – not only the name of our cars but also our guiding principle! The decision to not compete in FSG 2013 in favour of building a two year combustion car wasn't easy for us, but we feel like it will pay off. This year we're back: With a strong car and an even stronger team. Many new solutions can be found on our car with the aerodynamics package being the most obvious one. Combined with an early roll out giving us a lot of time for testing, we hope to be a contender for the podium.

Info
municHMotorsport 1 team – 2 cars2012 is year number 7 for the municHMotorsport team from the UAS Munich competing in Formula Student and the third year entering the FSG with two cars. This season our overall slogan is “2 cars - 1 team” which outlines the strong connection of the combustion and electric team. The 2012 FSC car, our PW7.12 again focuses on massive weight reduction combined with more stiffness and better driver orientation. Therefore we use a carbon fibre monocoque combined with our well developed suspension and a Honda CBR 600 RR engine with a new developed dry sump system. A strong focus on data acquisition allows us to prepare the PW7.12 for every single event. Thanks to our university and the numerous sponsors and supporters this season we are looking forward to the FSG competition in August and are keen on meeting all our friends from other teams again. Passion is what makes the Formula Student so special. This is why our cars are named PassionWorks!

Info
Founded in 2005 is municHMotorsport e.V. actually with 50 members heading to the events of the 2011 season. The team consists of students from different departments of our university. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, business administration and more. Therefore we can fit the right persons to the needed tasks. The goal of our team is to build a competitive race car. Therefore we do not only want to show, what we as students are able to build, but also to present the Know - How we gained over the years. This year we put the most effort to reduce the weight of our car by 50kg. Furthermore we focused more on the static events and a good documentation to ensure the performance of our team for the next years.

Info
The municHMotorsport Racing Team was founded as FHM Racing Team in summer 2005. This year we will participate at the Formula Student Events in Germany, Austria, Hungary and Japan. We started the year with building up a strong team of 40 motivated students with special team events. To have a competitive car at the Events we set clear goals. One important goal we achieved was to finish the car at the end of April. Therefore we have enough time to take a well tested car to the competitions and have trained drivers. The new PW 5.10 is an evolution of our old cars with a carbon-fiber monocoque and a steel tube rear car section. With a new suspension kinematic and a new engine setup we improved the cars performance in the dynamic events. According to our principle „Passion Works“ we are looking forward to the Formula Student competitions.

Info
The municHMotorsport Racing Team of the Munich University of Applied Sciences was founded in summer 2005 as FHM Racing Team. We renamed our Team after the last years season because of the new name of our University. This year we participate at the Formula Student Event in Silverstone/UK, Hockenheim/GER and in Melk/AUT. At the moment we have about 100 motivated team members and a well tested car. We had about 20 real testing days with the new PW4.09 and that should be a big step for a successful competition. Therefore the setup is optimized for all the dynamic events and the drivers are in shape. This car is an evolution of our old cars with some special details, for example our new engine setup. Thereby we raise the engines efficiency about 20%. If you would like to see more of our car we are looking forward to meet you at the competition.

Info
The FHM Racing Team of the University of Applied Sciences Munich was founded in summer 2005 and is now consisting about 60 college members. We participate this year for the third time at the Formula Student Event in Hockenheim. Furthermore in September 20-22 we will take part at the Formula SAE Italy Event at the Ferrari Fiorano Racetrack. In the last season we participated with our PW2.07 successfully at the Formula SAE Australasia Event with a good sixth place overall and we won the Acceleration-Event with a time of 4.02 sec. Our first racecar, the PW06 was built in in less than seven months and started its first race at the Formula Student Event in August 2006 in Hockenheim. Even as a newcomer, it was not necessary for our orange-black racer to hide from the competitors. This year with our PW3.08 we will try to maintain the success through our passion. With a new monocoque structure and other engineering techniques we reduce the total weight compared to the PW2.07. PASSION WORKS
