Salento Racing Team(SRT)represents much more than a simple group of students but an innovation lab in which skills and attitudes are emphasized. Thus, Engineering turns out magnified by matched efforts of different branches of knowing. In fact, the desire of reaching higher and higher results and to face newer and newer challenges are basic characteristics of SRT. In this context, SRT11 embodies an effective turning point in prototypes development, providing outstanding features such as a very stiff carbon fiber monocoque, important composite items (steering wheel, suspensions A-arms, fuel tank), gear & clutch pneumatic actuation, an optimized engine with customized head piston shapes and camshafts, launch control and much more. Eventually, SRT proudly represents a convergence point of some of the most innovative and competitive companies of our land, Salento.
