Info
Fast forest represents the UAS Deggendorf in formula student events. Founded in june 2008 our third season team consists of 30 active team members from every faculty of our university. Being in the third season the team put much effort into improving the dynamic characteristics of the second year car, the FF02 without accepting compromise in terms of reliability. Besides optimized power weight ratio we tried to the serve the driver with the most comfortable cockpit design possible: completely electronic operated gear shifting system, a lot of ellbow room and low steering forces. The car is developed to be driven by either gas or electrical power without having to make changes to the frame, the suspension or the cockpit. You’ll find further information on www.fastforest.de !

As we presented the best german business plan at the austrian formula student event last year our economic team is working really concentrated on an outstanding business idea to tie in with that success. Info
Team fast forest represents the UAS Deggendorf in Formula Student events. Our team was founded in June 2008 and is made up of 66 students from four faculties who contribute their mechanical/electrical engineering, business and media skills to a common objective: engineering a Formula Student race car.Working passionately during the summer and winter term, we developed, engineered and finally built our first car which was completed in June 2009. Team members fondly call it "Jenny" whereas its official name is FF01. Driven by a Yamaha R6 motorcycle engine powered by a self-engineered fuel system, the FF01 comes up with a peak 75 HP at a weight of about 300 kg. The carbon-fibre bodyshell was designed and shaped by students and weighs as low as 5,7 kg. Fast forest aims to be the best newcomer team of this year's Formula Student challenge in Hockenheim. We are looking forward to share our experiences with the fellow teams in order to develop and present an improved, daring FF02 in 2010.
