Info
After 12 years of steady evolution of our combustion race car, we as the UPBracing Team have decided to go all out this season. 46 kilograms saved, an entirely new chassis and aerodynamics package, a decoupled suspension system and our first telemetry system - this is an extraordinary progress. We want to make a statement and create a base for seasons to come. 48 students, sleepless nights and a common goal have created a potential to accelerate „small Paderborn“ to the top ranks.

Info
The UPBracing Team was founded in 2006. Today we consist 230 members of which 45 ones actively worked on the 10th year anniversary car: the PX216. Ten years of Formula Student provide us with the knowledge to build one of the lightest four-cylindered Formula Student cars.In order to deceed the 200kg-line we took every part into reconsideration. Through integral design combination and structural analysis of every joining point we reached the highest level of engineering in 10 years of UPBracing.

Info
The UPBracing Team e.V. was founded in 2006. Nowadays we consist of approximately 200 members of which about 45 ones actively worked on this year's race car: the PX215. This is the 9th step in the ongoing process of increasing performance of our race cars. Definitely the most outstanding feature of the PX215 is our Full CFRP Monocoque. Within the last two years we made use of a hybrid solution but now decided to make the next step. Our sponsors form an indispensable part of this project.

Info
In 2006 the UPBracing Team e.V. was founded by seven students of the University of Paderborn. Today the team exists of about 180 members of whom about 30 students are involved in the development and organization. Good results could be achieved with the 13th place in Silverstone (GB) and the 7th place in Györ (HU)in the year 2011. The UPBracing Team is strong-minded and also this year they stress their aims: "Every year we try to inspire students and companies for this huge project. On account of our many activity areas in the team we are grateful for every other support. One of our biggest aims is to reduce to every component so much weight as possible as well as to discover new innovations to score with specific features at the events. Of course it is also important for us to reach a good place in the dynamic and static events, because here the car is tested on its functionality and the team on its teamwork."

Info
The UPBracing Team e.V. was founded in 2006 by seven students of the University of Paderborn. After one year the team took part in the first racing event at Hockenheim with their first car, the PX207. Since the foundation the team has registered a steady increase of team members. Today the team exists of about 160 members of whom about 50 students are involved in the development and organization. The team has many different activity areas, which are described in the following: More than 60 % of the team work for the main area, the mechanical engineering. Mostly they work with CAE programs to develop and optimize the various components of the car. The deadline for the construction of the car is in spring. After that the manufacturing phase begins. Another important area is the electrical engineering, as the whole car needs to be supervised and regulated including for example the equipment of a data bus of system and the construction of the cable harness.

Info
Starting into the 3rd season the UPBracingTeam aims for success. With its 2nd appearance in Silverstone we present not only an evolution but rather a revolution of last year's concept. The Px 209 is lighter and more powerful than its predecessor. Due to new highlights we are sure to play a role in this year's event. Further improvements are achieved through the CFRP wishbones an optimized airbox and an optimized exhaust system. The wheel bearings are even lighter and stiffer than in the last season. An also new feature is our self-made steering gear which has no slackness and weights lot less than comparable solutions. Next to weight reduction our focus was on new production methods. The airbox and fuel tank were made through selective-laser-sintering which gave us a bigger freedom regarding special design features. All parts together form a even more well-engineered car which will show its abilities on the track. Finally we would like to thank all our supporters for this season.

Info
The UPBracingTeam is proud to present its second year car the PX 208. Still our team is facing the requirements with students from different faculties. Thanks to this and a raised effort from everybody we are sure to top our last year’s result. Other than our first vehicle this car features a 4-cylinder Suzuki GSR 600 engine which we modified to run on E-85. Several other modifications led us to a lowered mass center of the engine and we are optimistic to be a top player regarding the engines output. We were furthermore able to lower the weight from 316 kg to approx. 226kg by a lighter frame, lighter unsprung masses and an overall weight reduced construction. Regarding the performance this car is at least two steps in front of the PX 207.We are sure that we created a very competitive product that will turn some heads. We could not have realized this without our sponsors and supporters which raised their engagement even further. They help us living and creating our dreams.
