Team Description
Since November 2006 we participate as a racing team of the Helmut Schmidt University - University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg (HSU Hamburg) successfully in international events of the Formula Student. In order to be able to realize this every year, professional knowledge and support in various areas is required.
Consisting of 23 motivated motivated students of the HSU Hamburg, our team consists of engineers as well as economists and social scientists. The common interest in racing and the tasks ahead welds us together every season.

Info
EOS Racing is happy to come back to FSG after our engine blow up last year. The team consists of 20 men and women that are active military personnel and share the passion of building race cars. Our time at the University is strictly bound to four years, including both bachelor’s and master’s degrees. To manage that we work in a trimester system with an exam period every three months. The RUSH22 is our tenth Formula Student race Car. Let’s give our last FSC vehicle a worthy ending!
Engineering Design Priorities:
drivetrain integration
direct-actuated dampers
Revival of CAN Bus

2021
Info
On this year’s car we focused on achieving high reliability, drivability and sustainability. To reach these goals we overhauled our engineering approach and vastly improved the ergonomics. We aim to set a solid foundation to build on for the following years to come. Especially the integration of the chassis and suspension in interaction with the driver has seen a great improvement. We expect to gain a lot of experience through a car that can run all day in Hockenheim.
Engineering Design Priorities:
Setting Benchmarks
Back to Basics
Keep it Simple
Reliability

2019
Info
The comparatively small Eleven-O-Six Racing Team with 25 members consists mostly of officers and officer candidates. For the first time in team´s history, we use a 2-cylinder in-line engine instead of 4 cylinders. By using a diffusor, we dare our first step in using aerodynamic devices. We used 3D-printed molds for our bodywork.

2018
Info
2018 is the first time in years that our team started and finished a car and we are proud to enter with the RUSH 18. While not having a stealth look this year, we do have a very interesting approach with our bodywork and many other components. That is 3D-printing rather than traditional carbon composite works. The RUSH 18 is once again raising our passion of engineering and it is the first of many steps into the team's future!

Info
This year’s vehicle of the Helmut-Schmidt-University / University of the German federal Armed Forces is the RUSH12. It is the fifth time that the Eleven-O-Six Racing (EOS) Team takes part at the Formula Student Germany in Hockenheim. The successor of the RUSH11 combines a lot of experience with new ideas and is a new fast vehicle made by EOS. Furthermore improvements in engine performance and chassis kinematics as well as a new light weight tubular space frame backup our high expectations for this year’s event. Similar to its predecessor, the RUSH12 features an iPhone dashboard in order to provide any necessary information for the driver and the pit. Altogether the RUSH12 is our answer for the Formula Student Germany 2012. Thanks to all of our supporters, who made this amazing car possible.

Info
This year’s car of the Helmut Schmidt University – University of the German Federal Armed Forces Hamburg is the R.U.S.H. 11. It is the fourth time the Eleven-O-Six Racing Team takes part in a Formula Student Event and we are proud to present the successor of the R.U.S.H. 10. This year our car design is based on a F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter which is represented by the sharp-edged silhouette and its aggressive looks. Further improvements in engine performance and chassis kinematis as well as a new light-weight tubular space frame backup our high expectations for this year’s event. Similar to its predecessor the R.U.S.H. 11 features an iPhone dashboard in order to provide any information necesseary for both the driver and the pit crew during the race. Altogether the R.U.S.H. 11 is another excellent example for our team once again following its motto: passion of engineering. Thanks to all of our supporters, who made this possible.

2010
Info
HamburgHelmut Schmidt University – University of the Federal Armed Forces GermanyIn November 2006 the Eleven-O-Six Racing Team was founded. Today our team represents one of the largest projects at our university. Our Eleven-O-Six Racing Team takes part in the FSG the third time. This year we proudly present the R.U.S.H.10, an operational race car with best driving performance. The team worked hard on the development. This year special attention was paid to the uprights, light weight construction and engine performance. More overall perfection will enrich the race experience. Our frame is only one example for our highly developed components of the R.U.S.H.10. We constructed a multi-tubular frame made of S235 steel which is also light weight, easy to produce and maintain. Also a new feature is the integrated iPhone Dashboard. Every year our race car sets new standards in performance which would not have been possible without the help of all supporters. Thanks to all those involved.

2009
Info
The Eleven-O-Six Racing Team of the HSU Hamburg was founded in 2006 and now proudly presents its 2nd Formula Student racing car: the R.U.S.H.09!In comparison to the last year’s car, the R.U.S.H. 09 was completely new designed. Of course, the various experiences, insights and impressions gained at the Hockenheimring last year sustainably influenced its total construction. High engine performance and lightweight construction generate optimal acceleration figures and its appearance based on aerodynamic efficiency make it a well cornering and road-holding racing car. Lightweight design and improvement of the chassis and of the production engineering of the casing were one of the most important points the team reconsidered. The result of barely one year of work is the R.U.S.H. 09 – Robust, Unique, Sporty and High-performance.

Info
After first conceptual pencil sketches in 2006, we proudly present the R.U.S.H. 08 as a state-of-the-art expression of HSU students engineering and technical ability. The need for high performance stability, handling ability and low weight defined the cars form and construction. Therefore the car makes extensive use of ultra light carbon-fibre body parts and accessories. Its high level of performance is delivered by the combination of inherent light weight, near perfect weight distribution, a powerful 4-cylinder engine and an electronically steered transmission, while a freely programmable ECU provides full control of fuel injection/ ignition cycles. Key innovative features include a custom-made wire harness which caters for electric power supply and data processing, a thermostatically controlled twin aluminium radiator cooling system with cooling fans mounted in flow optimized carbon housings, aluminium differential and a 4-2-1 exhaust manifold made from light-weight stainless steel.
