Team Description

In spring 2004 a small group of engineering students at University of Bayreuth's then youngest faculty founded Elefant Racing. The name is derived from the Faculty of Applied Sciences' abreviation FAN which shares its letter string with the clever and powerful animal. The team took part in European competitions since 2006. In September 2010 we decided to run the season with a full electric vehicle within the rules of the FSE.
